On Saturday, April 13th, the GO Gallery will host the third solo exhibition of Ard Doko, “Pinch Harmonics”.
‘Pinch Harmonics’ is a mesmerizing collection of works that serve as a tribute to the primal energy of live concerts within the metal subculture. Ard Doko takes the visitor on a visual journey where intensity, comfort, euphoria, and violence are central. A subculture that has been fundamental to the artist’s life and work process..
Ard Doko (Den Helder, 1991) gained national recognition through the exhibition “Open” at Museum de Fundatie (Zwolle, 2015). |Since then, he has showcased his work internationally in cities such as Miami, Los Angeles, Paris, and Cologne. The artist is known for his raw, expressive portraits focusing on piercing eyes. In 2019, the Affordable Art Fair Amsterdam placed him in the top 5 street artists to watch!
Doko has been represented by the GO Gallery since 2015. “Pinch Harmonics” is his 6th solo exhibition.
The opening is on Saturday, April 13th, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Open: Wednesday – Saturday, from 12 PM to 6 PM.
