Peter Berlin in Amsterdam, Euro Pride, August 2016

Peter Berlin, aka Baron Armin Hagen von Hoyningen-Huene (1942), has been for 3 decades, through the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s one of the worlds biggest gay icons.
His self-portraits, though which he created a brand new image of the masculine homosexual man, adorned the covers of countless gay magazines.

Peter Berlin’s solo show for Euro Pride will feature a stimulating collection of unique and hand edited vintage photographs and newer prints, where the artist portrays himself as the world’s first Selfie-photographer in erotic poses, both naked and clothed, in skin-tight outfits that he used to create for the shoots that left little to the imagination.
