Arvee born in 1956, first started out as a realistic painter. However over the years, his work tended more and more towards the abstract. After many years his work is distinct with his signature mark on it, and has gained recognition internationally as the "soul" of Arvee. The play of light and dark, in a pallete of colours striving towards a kind of suspense, whereby the viewer constantly sees new images, thus stimulating ones fantasy. Arvee only works with oil paint, with the finest of pigments, working panistakingly, layer by layer, so that he sometimes takes months before he completing a painting. Over the years, Arvee's work has been exhibited not only in many European countires, but also in America( twice in New York) and also in the United Arab Emirates. His work is often found in large Art collections , to name a few, Rabo Bank, Eneco and Fina/Exxon. This is the seventh time that Arvee has participated in an exhibition at the GO Gallery.
